Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the Impacto platform. By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any of its tools or services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

  1. Who can use Impacto

Impacto is intended for use by registered UK-based charities, social enterprises, CICs, and similar not-for-profit organisations and groups (both incorporated and incorporated). Users must be authorised to act on behalf of their organisation.

  1. Subscription and Payment

Impacto is a subscription-based service. By subscribing to a monthly or annual plan, you gain access to tools, templates, support features, and reporting services according to your chosen tier.

  • All prices are published clearly on our website.
  • Monthly and annual subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
  • If a monthly subscription is cancelled or payment fails, access to the platform and all saved data will be removed immediately.
  • If an annual subscription is cancelled before the end of the 12-month period, access to the platform and all features will remain active until the end of that prepaid term. No refunds will be issued for unused months.

It is the user's responsibility to download or export any data they wish to retain before ending their subscription.

  1. Accuracy and Use of Information

Impacto is designed to support charities in tracking outcomes and generating automated reports using AI-powered technology. However:

  • All information input into the platform must be accurate and submitted in good faith by the organisation.
  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading data will result in flawed reports, for which we take no responsibility.
  • AI-generated content may contain occasional errors. It is the user’s responsibility to carefully review all generated reports before use.

We recommend that all outputs from the platform are read in full before sharing externally.

  1. Intellectual Property and Licensing

All content, templates, resources, logic models, tools and platform features are the intellectual property of Social Research Builders Ltd.

By subscribing, users are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the tools and reports for their own organisation’s internal monitoring and external reporting purposes only.

Users may not:

  • Copy, distribute, share or adapt any tools outside their organisation
  • Use Impacto content or tools for commercial purposes
  • Resell or offer access to the platform to other parties
  • Replicate the platform, tools or associated materials

Unauthorised use or copying of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

  1. Platform Use and Support

Users must:

  • Use the platform in line with UK law
  • Maintain secure login credentials
  • Contact us first with any technical issues or concerns

We will:

  • Provide access to the platform based on the features of your subscription
  • Aim to keep the platform available 99% of the time (excluding maintenance)
  • Respond to support queries within a reasonable timeframe
  1. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where users:

  • Breach these terms
  • Abuse the platform or tools
  • Act in a way that damages other users or our reputation

If your account is terminated due to breach, no refund will be issued.

  1. Limitation of Liability

While we work to ensure platform reliability and accuracy, Impacto is a tool to assist with reporting - not a substitute for professional evaluation advice. If you wish to access expert evaluation support, please contact Social Research Builders who can provide that service in addition to your subscription to Impacto.

  • We accept no liability for outcomes arising from incorrect input data or misinterpretation of AI-generated content.
  • We are not responsible for any losses incurred due to reliance on incomplete or incorrect reports.
  1. Refund and Cancellation Policy
  • We do not offer refunds for unused portions of monthly or annual subscriptions.
  1. Beta Use Disclaimer

Users accessing the platform during the beta or pilot phase acknowledge that features may be subject to change, occasional bugs may occur, and feedback may be requested to support ongoing development.

As during beta this service is offered at a significantly reduced rate, or free of charge in some cases, users are expected to acknowledge this trade-off. In return, beta users will be asked to commit to providing meaningful and timely feedback on their experience, platform usability, and feature development. By participating in the beta or pilot phase, users agree to support the continued improvement of Impacto by sharing insights and suggestions where possible.

  1. Data Processing Roles

Users of the platform act as data controllers, responsible for the lawful basis of any personal data they enter. Social Research Builders Ltd acts as a data processor, providing technical tools to store, process, and report on that data.

  1. Acceptable Use Policy

Users agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Upload offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content
  • Use the platform to collect or share unauthorised third-party data
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, duplicate, or interfere with platform functionality

Violation of this policy may result in account termination and legal proceedings if required.

  1. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  1. Updates to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. You will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the most current terms.
